ZikrFlow (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information when you use the ZikrFlow mobile application (“App”).

By using the App you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — email address, display name, and country you provide when you register.
• Zikr data — the dhikr counts you record, the rooms you join or create, and your participation history.
• Usage data — session duration, feature interactions, and crash reports collected automatically to improve the App.
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and a Firebase-assigned installation ID used for push notifications (FCM).

We do not collect payment information, precise location, or contacts.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To display your dhikr counts, streaks, and leaderboard rankings.
• To enable community room features (joining, inviting, group counting).
• To send optional push notifications about room milestones and activity.
• To analyse usage patterns and fix bugs (aggregated / anonymised where possible).

4. Firebase Services

The App is built on Google Firebase. The following Firebase services process your data on our behalf:

• Firebase Authentication — manages sign-in credentials.
• Cloud Firestore — stores user profiles, zikr entries, and room data.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — delivers push notifications.

Google’s data processing is governed by the Firebase Privacy and Security page.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only:

• With Firebase / Google as our infrastructure provider (see Section 4).
• When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Leaderboard entries (display name, country, and counts) are visible to other users of the App by design.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

• Your profile, zikr entries, and room memberships are permanently deleted.
• Aggregated, anonymised statistics (e.g., room total counts) may be retained.
• Deletion is processed within 30 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including Firebase security rules, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), and role-based access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we strive to use commercially acceptable means but cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete that information promptly.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete data (editable in-app).
• Deletion — request erasure of your account and associated data.
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to processing of your data in certain circumstances.
